SUMMER REC PROGRAM: The Town of Mead is accepting applications for the summer recreation program. Space is limited and discounted registration ends May 22. Interested residents are encouraged to get their children enrolled early. For more information click here or to fill out an application, click here.
CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS: Recent legislation passed and signed by the Governor; House Bill 09-1091 requires a carbon monoxide alarm in all single family (this includes Mobile and Manufactured homes) and multi-family homes/units built, sold, or rented and additions or remodels after July 1, 2009. This bill also applies to any addition or replacement of fuel burning appliances. PROPOSED LAND USE CODE: The Land Use Code for the Town of Mead is being updated. H1N1 INFORMATION: There have been numerous confirmed cases of H1N1 (swine flu) in the United States, including Colorado. For more information click here to be directed to the Colorado Department of Public Health or click here for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. PASSPORT INFORMATION: Residents of Mead can now apply for passports at Town Hall. If you have questions regarding the requirements for getting a passport, you can call Town Hall at 970/535-4477. 2nd and last Monday of the month 7:00 p.m. Court is held the 3rd Thursday of the month 6:30 p.m.
Open Space Committee meet 4th Tuesday of the month 6:00 p.m. Parks and Recreation Committee meet 4th Wednesday of the month 6:00 p.m.
Planning Commission meet 3rd Wednesday of the month 7:00 p.m.
